Oil Olympics Winners
Third Olympics of the employees of Volga Region group of OAO Oil and Gas Company “RussNeft” took place in Ulianovsk on July 13-15.

Among the participants there was the picked team of OAO “Belkamneft”. The sportsmen competed in eight kinds of sport. The representatives of “Belkamneft” were the winners in five of them: rowing, air rifle shooting, swimming, table tennis and volleyball. In mini-football, arm-wrestling and weight sport the oilmen from “Belkamneft” took silver prizes.

By overall standing the team of “Belkamneft” took premier place. The challenge cup of the Olympics of OAO Oil and Gas Company “RussNeft” arrived to Izhevsk, symbolizing the commitment of the employees of OAO “Belkamneft” to sports, team spirit and healthy way of life.

It is the second time that the sportsmen from “Belkamneft” participate in the corporate Olympics. In 2006 the Udmurtian sportsmen took the second place. 

“Team spirit, feeling of doing mutual work and friendly support – these are characteristic features of our employees”, says General Director of OAO “Belkamneft” Vladimir Ignatko. “The results of athletic competitions, where we often participate, confirm this. Sponsoring sport events is one of the main components of our social policy. OAO “Belkamneft” not only stimulates athletic feats of its employees. We support children’s athletic groups, participate in arranging mass competitions. In particular, “Belkamnweft” sponsored the 16th Rural Sport Games, which have taken place this year in Kambarsk district.”.
