ОАО «Saratovneftegaz» is a leading mineral developer of the Saratov Region, producing the major part of hydrocarbon stock of the Region. It is developing more than 40 oilfields on the territory of the Saratov and Volgograd Regions. Net effective oil pay exceeds 103 million tons.
In 2010 annual production level made 938.629 thousand tons of oil. The major result of “Saratovneftegaz” in 2010 became successful work with the well stock and realization of effective geological and technical actions, which allowed to essentially stop oil production decline and to increase daily production by 100 tons. Among the geological and technical actions applied is electrical submersible pumping system with ac electronic motor, double packer packaging arrangements for isolation of watered layer, electrical submersible pumping system with packers, etc.
In 2010 “Saratovneftegas” got a license for the right to explore and produce hydrocarbon stock within the boundaries of Luzianinskoye oilfield with C1+C2 category recoverable resources of 273 thousand tons. The oilfield was discovered in 2008. At present NK “RussNeft” is planning to apply test operation at Luzianinskoye and within the near two years, having prepared the project of development, to start commercial exploitation of the oilfield. For two years geological survey of the company has examined and itemized the structure of Luzianinskoye oilfield in order to prepare it for test operation. As the result of it three deposits of hydrocarbon stock were discovered within the boundaries of this area: a gas deposit, a gas condensate deposit and oil and gas deposit.
In 2011 “Saratovneftegaz” is going to stabilize oil production on the existing assets in the amount of 1 million tons of oil and at the same time to increase the total annual production capacity of the enterprise by means of drilling new wells at the Osinovskoye and Alekseevskoye oilfields. The expected benefit from geological and technical measures in 2011 is production of additional 200 thousand tons of oil.
In 2010 “Saratovneftegaz” paid much attention to realization of gas program: in particular, there was carried out reconstruction of Stepnovskaya gas compressor station, there were carried out design works for the construction of booster compressor station in Severnoye oil and gas production workshop. In December last year utilization of associated gas at Mechetkinskoye oilfield was brought almost to 100%.  In 2011 “RussNeft” is going to invest about 146 million Rubles in realization of gas projects in OAO “Saratovneftegaz”. These funds will be used to finance design works on reconstruction of Razumovskoye gas treatment unit, reconstruction of Stepnovskaya gas compressor station, construction of gas-transmission pipeline, introduction of small compressor stations working on associated gas and gas engines for beam-pumping units.
