ÎÀÎ NGDU "Penzaneft" maintains production of Verkhozimskoye, Komarovskoye and Alekseyevskoye oilfields in Penza Region. The company has got a license for exploratory works at Truyevskaya area. Net affective pay exceeds 4.9 million tons. OAO “Ulianovskneft” renders to the company oil production operator’s services.
Discovered in 1954, Verkhozimskoye oilfield was put into operation only in 1977. Before this time, for 20 years, it had been on conservation. At the moment Verkhozimskoye oilfield has all necessary production infrastructure, including oil-gathering system meeting all environmental requirements, oil treatment units and other facilities. In 2009 ÎÀÎ NGDU "Penzaneft" replaced the old pipeline with a new one featuring two corrosion rate measuring devices. To optimize underground equipment the company is implementing at the wells of Verkhozimmskoye oilfield a project for utilization of formation water by way of transferring well No 77 from producing stock to absorption stock. A new preliminary water removal unit is projected at the territory of oil treatment and pumping “Penza”. In 2009 OAO “Penzaneft” produced 158.631 tons of oil It is planned to build up production output through conducting of geological and exploratory works and introduction of new reserves.
