RussNeft to Have Come to Komi
NK RussNeft OAO and the government of the Republic of Komi have concluded a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed by RussNeft President Mikhail Gutseriev and Head of the Republic of Komi Vladimir Torlopov.

The agreement signifies the beginning in the development of relationship between RussNeft and the Republic of Komi. The main principles of the agreement will be joint actions aimed at further development of mineral and raw materials sources, rational utilization of natural resources of the Republic, harnessing of Komi’s industrial and investment potential, joint implementation of innovation projects.
The conclusion of the agreement show readiness of the company to implement large-scale industrial and social programs in the oil producing region, as informed by the press-service of RussNeft.
 “I am glad because to the Republic of Komi has come a company in which work professional people,” said Head of Komi Republic Vladimir Torlopov. “The agreement will look not only after tax proceeds but also after local employment and other matters connected with social sphere”.
In his turn Mikhail Gutseriev pointed out that RussNeft had come to the Republic with serious intentions and for a long time.
The Head of RussNeft also specified oil production growth and enhancement of social partnership as foreground tasks for the Republic and the company.
