The oilmen of Ulianovsk helped to suppress a forest fire
Ulianovsk. The oilmen of Ulianovsk, a fire-fighting squad and some employees of OAO “Ulianovskneft”, a subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft” helped to suppress a forest fire, which emerged not far from Vishenki village in Melekes district.

The spreading fire threatened populated localities and a transforming station which was caught in the fire zone.

The Ulianovsk oilmen fought against fire for five days. And as the result of their competent and coherent actions the fire was suppressed.

The head of administration of the Melekes District, V.P.Tigin sent a letter of thanks to the address of OAO “Ulianovskneft”. Eleven employees of  Oil and Gas Production Department “Severnoye” (A.Y.Godovannik, A.O.Kozlov, S.A.Kossovtsev, V.N.Ulusov, R.R.Yarullov, I.G. Ulitin. I.E.Shiriaev, A.A. Mironychev, A.A.Semionov, C.Y.Karpov,  V.S.Nazarov)  were awarded a commendation. Besides, firemen-driver V.N.Ulusov from the fire-fighting squad of OAO  “Ulisnoavskneft” was put forward for award by the governor of the Ulianovsk Region for special merits in suppressing of the fire.
