GOLD POOL OF AGANNEFTEGASGEOLOGIA
Nowadays Roslavl is the most promising oil field of OAO MPK “Aganneftegasgeologia”, a subsidiary of OAO Oil and Gas Company “RussNeft”. Its development began in 2000. During a short period the company has achieved high results: today production of the oilfield amounts to 2 000 tons of oil peer day.
At present Roslavl oilfield counts 6 multiple well platforms, 58 functioning wells, 18 of which are injection ones and 2 wells are working in maintaining reservoir pressure mode. The very first well of the oilfield, P-11, drilled in 1988 by G.Odintsev’s brigade, is still functioning. In fact, it was the pioneer of the new oilfield, and a memorial stela is erected in its honor.
