A.Lukashenko and M.Gutseriev Discussed Cooperation between Byelorussia and RussNeft
Today a working meeting was held between President of the Republic of Byelorussia Alexander Lukashenko and President of NK RussNeft OAO Mikhail Gutseriev, said the company’s press-service in a statement.

The parties discussed the matters of mutually beneficial cooperation between Byelorussia and the holding company as well as future plan of RussNeft’s actions in Byelorussia. Head of the state and leader of the oil holding said they were satisfied with the results of the work of RussNeft’s subsidiary Slavneftekhim operating in the republic and noted that the cooperation between the parties was favourable for the progress in the development of fuel and energy integration of the two countries.
Slavneftekhim is a subsidiary of RussNeft representing its interests in the Republic of Byelorussia basing on the agreement between state-run concern Belneftekhim and RussNeft. Slavneftekhim is mostly engaged in oil refining and supplying the local consumers with petroleum products. At the same time Slavneftekhim delivers hydrocarbon feed to petrochemical enterprises of the republic. It also exports petroleum products to CIS, Eastern Europe and Baltic States.
During the time of its operation at Byelorussian market the company processed more than 1 million tons of feed at big petrochemical plants of the republic. The petroleum products yielded are exported and sold at the local market of the Republic of Byelorussia in compliance with the protocol approved by Belneftekhim and the Economics Ministry of Byelorussia on a monthly basis.
In 2005 RussNeft delivered more than 1.5 million tons of crude oil to the refineries of the Republic of Byelorussia which was two times as much against the showing of the previous year. Moreover, in the fourth quarter RussNeft started its regular deliveries via its oil loading terminal found in the Bryansk region.
