In 2011 about 3 145 RussNeft employees took part in various programs of extended education, retraining and upgrading. The Company spent more than 22 mln RUR for these purposes.
Gold Pool of Human Resources.
The backbone of the company is the employees who have worked at RussNeft for more than 10 years. One of the most important principles of the Company HR policy is succession of oilmen generations. The Company has formed a succession pool for administrative and plant managers of OAO NK RussNeft. The Company provides good opportunities for further career growth within the holding. By establishing its own strategic pool the Company obtained the following competitive advantages: a coordinated close-knit team of managers, responsible for the final result, maintenance of Company traditions, creation of friendly atmosphere in the Company by granting each employee a promotion opportunity, increase of Company management general efficiency and, as a result, increase of production efficiency. Promotion of Company employees up to the top-management level motivates each worker. Nowadays the formula of career success is to rise from a common worker up to a top manager.
Young professionals
Each year the company approves a list of social benefits in order to attract young professionals to work at the enterprises. Each young professional can be sure that he/she receives a special social package. In 2011 OAO NK RussNeft employed 62 young specialists in total. Enterprises of the holding regularly provide workplaces for production practice. In 2011 640 students of higher educational and specialized secondary educational institutions were on production practice and externship at RussNeft subsidiaries. Joint educational programs with the leading Russian universities RussNeft cooperates with Lomonosov Moscow State University, Gubkin Russian State Oil and Gas University, Tyumen Oil and Gas University, Ufa State Technical Oil University, Ulyanovsk State University. The Company makes contracts for training of specialists with higher professional education for further work at the enterprises of the holding in conformity with annual demand for young professionals.
