Policy of ÎÀÎ Oil and Gas Company «RussNeft» in the sphere of Industrial Safety, Environmental and Labor Protection
ÎÀÎ NK «RussNeft» is numbered among the top ten major oil companies of Russia.
Preservation of life and health of the employees of the Company, industrial safety, environmental protection in the catchment areas of the Company’s enterprises are numbered among the priorities and main conditions of successful business development of ÎÀÎ NK «RussNeft».
The mangement of the Company is well aware of its responsibility in the sphere of environmental and labor protection and undertakes to:
- observe the requirements of federal, regional and industry legislation in the sphere of environmental protection and harmoniuios exploitation of natural resources, labour protection and other requirements applicable to the business activity of OAO NK “RussNeft”, including the requirements of international standards in the field of ecological management and labour protection management.
- apply best efforts in order to prevent
accident risks,minimize personnel injures and sickness rate reduce negative environmental impact;
- constantly improve Safety, Environment and Labor Protection Management System at OAO NK “RussNeft”
To fulfill the set commitments , ÎÀÎ NK «RussNeft» is going to:
- Identify and estimate industrial and environmental risks, and effect control over the revealed risks.
-Efficiently use natural resources and energy, introduce non-waste and low-waste technologies, technologies of safe accumulation, storibg and disposal of industrial and consumer wastes, other technologies aimed at reduction of negative impact over the environment.
- Improve production process, apply technologies and equipment providing labor safety.
- Effect monitoring, inspections, local audits, review of working places for meeting the legislative and other requirements applicable to the Company’s risks in the field of environment and labour prootection.
- Provide competence of the staff in the sphere of environmental and labor protection, support and encourage the employees, who really contribute to the rise of industrial and environmental safety.
- Bring to the attention of suppliers and subcontractors commitments of this Policy, norms and standards of environment and labour protection adopted at OAO NK “RussNeft” .
- Exercise exchange of information with third interested parties on the matters of environment and labour protection.
Management of ÎÀÎ NK «RussNeft» undertakes responsibility for implementation of this Policy by means of setting relevant targets, assigning necessary organizational and financial resources their for achieving, control and analysis of the Company’s activity in the field of environment and labour protection
