Nuzhnevartovski District, KhMAO-Yugra. OAO MPC "Aganneftegasgeologia" (a subsidiary of "RussNeft") started operational drilling at Mogutlorskoye oilfield. According to the information received by "UralInformBiuro" from the press-service of the MGC, drilling of the first deviated well is perofrmed at well pad No 17. Under the project its depth will be more than 3 kilometers.
On the total, befor the end of February, 2010 the company will have drilled at the oilfield 6 deviated wells with sidetracks up to 1.5 km. They will open up oil-filled strata of formation ÞÂ-1 and ÞB-2. OOO "RussNeft-Burenie" is a general conrtactor for construction of the wells, drilling works are being done by "Varioganskaya Nefteburovaya Kompania".
