Outdated equipment is replaced at ONOS
The scheduled repair at "Orsknefteorgsintez" is in progress. Every year subsidiaries of "RussNeft" spend much money for these purposes. And every time one of the main expenditure items is the replacement of the outdated equipment.

"Orsknefteorgsintez" takes this matter seriously. If in 1995 deterioration of equipment made 73%, then in 2008 - 50 (?) %. As explained by Vladimir Pilyugin, the General Director at ONOS, the equipment is always replaced by the one with improved capabilities. Economic efficiency of such investments is evident: operating capabilities and operating efficiency of the equipment are growing, production is worked out for the best, the quality of products becomes better, dead weight losses go down, profit increases. At the same time, another important task is being solved - industrial safety security.
Divisions and departments strictly control the state of the equipment and mechanisms. All data is summarized, then the plans are made and realized with the help of the holding company. According to the recent figures, for the program of outdated equipment replacement there was spent 59 mln 455 thous. Rubles. An impressive amount, and by the end of the year this sum should increase. Not all work is made, not all money is spent.

There were put on 16 pumps with double-face seals to the amount of 16 mln 288 thous. Rubles. The plant has also got equipment of air-cooling for the unit 45-1 for an overall amount of 11 mln 687 thous. Rubles. There were received and fixed at reservoirs 12 radar level glasses (12 mln 240 thous. Rubles).  At the unit 35-11-1 there were replaced valves by the 12 modern ones with controllers ("Kamflex"), for these purposes there was spent 3 mln 422 thous. Rubles. More than 2 mln Rubles was spent for the purchase and replacement of bearing retainer, and 2 mln for electric transformators.  More than 1,5 mln was spent for the replacement of flue gas duct.
The list of works, having been done, and those which should be done is a long one. The results impress: at a tight schedule of repairs the operating capabilities don't go down. The departments of the enterprise work consistently, trying to realize all scheduled work, so that it brought economic benefit both for the enterprise and the Company in whole. There are good reasons to believe, that the present season of repairs and replacements of the equipment will be successful too.
