Ìàrch 200820.03.2008 “Belkamneft” is going to spend more than 600 million rubles for implementation of ecological programs in 2008. The largest projects of “Belkamneft”, which need substantial financial investments but contributing to raising the level of industrial culture at the company and ecological safety in the region will become in 2008 the oil sludge utilization block and the pipeline Viatka-Ashit underwater crossing the Kama river which will permit to reduce substantially the share of motor transport in oil transportation. According to the data received from the representatives of the company the company is going to spend for its ecological projects about 600 million rubles.
As we have already reported before, the underwater crossing of the Kama river is a single project of the kind in Udmurtia and one of the few in Russia. The length of its underflow part makes it s unique in the country: it amounts to 1546 meters, the total length of the crossing is 3 500 meters.
